An audition will be held for the Missoula Children’s Theatre production of THE FROG PRINCE on Monday, January 16th from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Those auditioning should arrive between 3:30 and 4 p.m. and plan to stay for the full two hours. Parents are welcome to stay for auditions as well. Some of the cast members will be asked to stay for a rehearsal immediately following the auditions; others will be released at 6 p.m. after cast announcements have been made.
This program is free for participants thanks to the support of our wonderful community.
Approximately 50-60 roles are available for students. All students, grades K-12, are welcome to audition. No advance preparation is necessary. All levels of experience are encouraged to audition – including first time participants! MCT is a great way to try out theater for the first time, and is also a great for those looking to improve their acting skills.
If cast, a rehearsal schedule will be provided – most older students should plan on rehearsing 4-8:15 p.m. Tuesday, January 17 through Friday, January 20, and bring a dinner with them. Younger students typically do not stay as late/practice every day. Performances will be held on Saturday, January 21 at 3 and 5:30 p.m.
