Renting the Facility
The opera house is a multi-purpose building with a capacity of 200 (150 if seated at tables), modern stage lighting, a dressing room with adjacent bathroom, drive-up handicapped access, and air-conditioning. Stage is 25′ wide x 20′ deep plus 3′ thrust; room is approximately 43′ wide x 54′ long.
Portable seating allows main floor versatility for many different configurations of use. There is a gallery and bar area in the adjacent office area, accessible through an interior door between the two buildings.

Standard Rates (Scroll down for non-profit rates)
Rent Includes:
- Chairs and seating capacity of 200 (150 if seated at tables)
- Basic stage lighting
- Use of all public spaces in the building (main floor and stage area)
- Balcony (qualified technical personnel only) and dressing room use as arranged
- Limited administrative staff support
Half day, Sunday through Thursday – $400 (under 4 hrs)
Whole day, Sunday through Thursday – $800 (up to 8 hrs)
Half day, Friday or Saturday – $500 (under 4 hrs)
Whole day, Friday or Saturday -$1,000 (up to 8 hrs)
Over 8 hours – $200 per additional hour or $500 for block of 4 hours
Other Charges:
Technical Director – Cost pro-rated
Stage Hands – Cost pro-rated
Sound system – $20 per hour for basic speaking microphone; additional fee of $250 for full system with sound technician
Follow spot – $20 per hour
Movie screen – $25 per use (plus additional $25/hour for projector, if needed)
Upright piano (Everett) – $25 per use (does not include tuning)
Tables – $15 each
Tablecloths – $15 each
Items not in inventory – Cost pro-rated
Extra clean-up – $35 per hour
Deposit of $500 may be required prior to use of the building and may be used to cover damages or charges incurred beyond original contract agreement.
Use of Steinway B grand piano requires permission from Green Lake Festival of Music and additional fee payable to the Festival.
Non-Profit Rates
Half day, Sunday through Thursday – $240 (under 4 hrs)
Whole day, Sunday through Thursday – $480 (up to 8 hrs)
Half day, Friday or Saturday – $300 (under 4 hrs)
Whole day, Friday or Saturday – $600 (up to 8 hrs)
Over 8 hours – $120 per additional hour
