Hailing from the Missouri Ozarks, Ha Ha Tonka crafts wide-open, effortless anthems where high-lonesome mountain music meets straight-up rock ‘n’ roll. Since their 2007 Bloodshot Records debut, the band has built a career on restless, edgy roots rock that mirrors the American spirit—balancing gritty social realities with wry humor and deep storytelling traditions. With five critically acclaimed albums under their belt and a sixth finished during the pandemic, they’ve conquered stages from Lollapalooza to Austin City Limits, and appeared on CONAN and Anthony Bourdain’s No Reservations.
