A group audition for the Missoula Children’s Theatre production of THE JUNGLE BOOK will be held on Monday, January 19, from 4-6 p.m. at Thrasher Opera House in Green Lake. There is no cost for students to participate. Students of all experience levels are welcome – this is a great intro to theater for first time participants and an excellent skill building opportunity for those who have participated in the past!

Students should arrive by 4 p.m. and plan to stay for the entire two-hour session. No advance preparation is necessary for the group audition, although it is an audition and there are only 50-60 roles, some students may not receive a role. The cast will be announced and a detailed rehearsal schedule will be distributed at 6 p.m. Monday.

The first rehearsal begins Monday at 6:30 p.m. for students with more complicated parts.  Rehearsals are Tuesday through Friday 4-6 p.m. and 6:15-8:15 p.m. at the
Thrasher. Although not all cast members are needed at every session, all students must be available for the entire week and must be able to attend all rehearsals required for their role. Cast members scheduled for the full 4 ½ hours of rehearsal should bring a sack supper or snack.

The performances are on Saturday, January 24 at 3 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. at Thrasher Opera House. All those cast must be available for BOTH scheduled performances.

Tickets for the performances on Saturday will be $15 Adults, $10 Students.
