Cimarron 615 is a country-rock powerhouse boasting a “who’s-who” resume of Americana history. Formed by long-term collaborators and former members of the legendary band Poco, the quartet includes Rick Lonow, Jack Sundrud, Michael Webb, and Ronnie Guilbeau. Their collective credits span work with icons like Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn, and Chris Stapleton. After gelling as a house band for a 2021 tribute project, the group realized they possessed a unique, organic chemistry that transcended their roles as elite sidemen, leading to the birth of a true musical collective.

On their self-titled sophomore album, the band moves beyond their session-player roots to deliver a streamlined, high-energy sound defined by gritty guitars and rich vocal harmonies. The record features twelve original tracks ranging from bluesy roadhouse grooves and Cajun-infused rhythms to airy Western ballads. Recorded in a relaxed, collaborative atmosphere, the project highlights the band’s “jam band” DNA and their commitment to creative freedom. For Cimarron 615, the focus remains on keeping the music live, organic, and evolving.
