Iconic country-rock band Pure Prairie League visits Green Lake

Tickets are on sale now for the Wisconsin-exclusive performance of Pure Prairie League, the iconic country-rock band of the '60s and '70s.  PPL will be visiting the historic Thrasher Opera House in Green Lake on Friday & Saturday, November 1 & 2, 2013, and although Saturday night sold out in a hurry, Thrasher added a second night - making Friday night tickets now available.

"You better get tickets soon, Friday night is selling equally fast. Who knows when you'll have another opportunity to see PPL back in the Wisconsin area," said Roby Irvin, Executive Director.

Pure Prairie League, along with groups like the Eagles reached mainstream radio listeners by the mid-1970s, as singles like "Amie”, "Two Lane Highway", "Let Me Love You Tonight", "Falling In And Out Of Love", and "Early Morning Riser" climbed the Billboard charts.

This special performance is supported by the Wisconsin Arts Board with funds from the State of Wisconsin, and the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation.

Tickets for the Pure Prairie League concert are $34 and can be purchased at Thrasher Office, Knowledge Emporium, Green Lake Bank (Green Lake), Ripon Drug and Pick ‘N Save (Ripon), Twister (Princeton) or by calling 920-294-4279. You can also order online at
