Calling all young actors, grades 1 through 12!  Auditions are set for Monday, June 19, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. for Missoula Children’s Theatre’s production of BEAUTY LOU AND THE COUNTRY BEAST.  Those auditioning should arrive between 3:30 and 4 p.m. and plan to stay for two hours. Parents are welcome to stay for auditions as well. Some cast members will be asked to stay for a rehearsal immediately following the auditions; others will be released at 6 p.m. after cast announcements.

Among the roles to be cast are Beauty Lou, Imaginary Friend, Beast, Dusty and Slim the farmhands, Fleabite Clyde the dog, the Younger Daughters, the Older Daughters, the Country Folk, and the Barnyard Critters.  Students, ages entering 1^st grade through 12^th grade, are encouraged to audition.  No advance preparation is necessary. Assistant Directors will also be cast to aid in rehearsals throughout the week and to take on essential backstage responsibilities.

The Missoula Children’s Theatre touring productions are complete with costumes, scenery, and props. The MCT Tour Actor/Directors will conduct rehearsals throughout the week from 4 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. each day.
