Coco Montoya is a blues guitarist and singer who rose to prominence as a member of blues legend Albert Collins’ backing band in the 1980s. He later embarked on a successful solo career, earning critical acclaim for his powerful vocals, soulful guitar playing, and dynamic stage presence. Montoya’s music draws on a range of influences, including blues, rock, and soul, and is characterized by his fiery guitar solos, expressive vocals, and energetic performances. He has released several albums over the course of his career, and his work has earned him numerous accolades and awards in the blues community.
