Australia’s hottest pop sensation comes to Green Lake
Thrasher Opera House is thrilled to announce that Australia’s hottest pop sensation, the bluehouse, will be appearing on Saturday, August 9, 2003 at 8:00 p.m. Gracing the stage of the historic Opera House during Green Lake’s Fine Art Fair weekend will be the all-female acoustic trio that has been ranked in the media alongside kd lang and the Indigo Girls.
Samantha Harley, Jacqueline Walter and Bernadette Carroll met at a pub in 1995 and decided to form the bluehouse, and their stars have been rising dramatically ever since! They have received international recognition that normally only arrives after heavy record company investment and corporate marketing – but the bluehouse have achieved it through pure hard work, will and abundant talent. Their music has been described as delicious folk-pop . . . tinged at times with sweet gospel soul, before plunging into raucous guitar riffs.
Reigning as one of the top selling bands in

Music is a form of art. So, after stimulating your visual senses at the annual Green Lake Fine Art Fair, and hopefully finding some wonderful treasures too, treat yourself to a feast for the eyes and ears by enjoying the wonderful “a cappella with attitude” of Australia’s hottest pop sensation, the bluehouse.
Tickets for the evening’s concert are $15 and are now available ON-LINE at www.thrasheroperahouse.com. They can also be purchased at the Opera House office (located next to the Opera House), Knowledge Emporium, Green Lake State Bank, Bull Moose Mercantile (
