Bring the kids..."Dog Loves Books" presented at Thrasher this Saturday
The family-friendly play/musical "Dog Loves Books," ArtsPower’s newest musical about the irresistible Dog who loves everything about books comes to life onstage at the historic Thrasher Opera House this Saturday afternoon, November 7 at 3 p.m. The original adaptation of Louise Yates' New York Times best seller is about a Dog who loves books SO much, he decides to open his own bookstore...and the story begins. ArtsPower’s delightful new musical celebrates the power of the imagination and the satisfaction that comes when you share books with others.
Celebrating their 30h anniversary season in 2015-16, ArtsPower is one of America's largest and most respected producers of professional theatre for young and family audiences. Founded by twin brothers Gary and Mark Blackman in 1985, ArtsPower has created 28 original musicals and plays that have been presented for more than 13 million people throughout 49 states and the District of Columbia. Tickets are only $12 and will be available at the door on Saturday afternoon.
