Little Feat's makes a big appearance at Thrasher
Paul Barrere and Fred Tackett, guitarists from the legendary American rock band Little Feat, will perform at the historic Thrasher Opera House in Green Lake on Saturday, April 19. While their lineup and members have changed since they first performed together on the renowned "Dixie Chicken" album nearly 35 years ago, their music remains a blend of Rock and Roll, R&B, Boogie, Country, Folk, Gospel, Soul, Funk & Jazz Fusion.
Following spectacular careers leading Little Feat, and playing with artists like Bonnie Raitt, Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, Dionne Farris, Taj Mahal and the Wallflowers to name a few, these two guitar virtuosos are together again. Now an acoustic duo, they bring a rare opportunity for audiences to savor songs from the Little Feat catalog and much more, all with their distinctly different artistic stamp.
The Little Feat guitarists performs at 7:30 on April 19th and tickets are only $35 and available at the Thrasher office, Knowledge Emporium, Green Lake Bank (Green Lake); Pick Ní Save, Ripon Drug (Ripon); Twister (Princeton) or by calling (920) 294-4279. Online tickets available at www.thrasheroperahouse.com.
