Jigsaw Jones performed this Saturday with Q&A to follow.
Open deer hunting season is right around the corner, which often means dad, mom, or both will be occupied for the entire weekend. But what about the children? Join us at the historic Thrasher Opera House in downtown Green Lake on Saturday, November 19 at 3 p.m. for a delightful and heartwarming musical/play suitable for the whole family titled, Jigsaw Jones: The Case of the Class Clown.
Based on the best-selling book by author James Preller, the play is brimming with music, charm and humor. ArtsPower’s musical adaptation of Jigsaw Jones features a cast of four professional actors, one of whom “doubles” or plays two roles in the show and who in addition to the play, will perform seven musical numbers in the show.
As the story goes, Athena Lorenzo has been slimed and she doesn’t think it’s very funny. One of her classmates in Mrs. Gleason’s class has been playing practical jokes. Junior sleuth Theodore “Jigsaw” Jones knows that he and his trusty assistant, Mila, can crack the case. When the prime suspect turns out to be Ralphie Jordan, Jigsaw’s best friend, their investigation becomes very sticky. Can Jigsaw solve the mystery by finding the real culprit without losing a true friend?
Tickets for this wonderful afternoon matinee are only $10 and available at Thrasher Office, Knowledge Emporium, Green Lake Bank, (Green Lake); Ripon Drug, & Pick ‘N Save (Ripon); Twister (Princeton) or by calling 920-294-4279.
