Siegel-Schwall brings feel-good blues to the historic Thrasher
The music of the legendary blues-rock band from the 60s & 70s, Siegel-Schwall, is often described as “blues that makes you feel good.” And that it does! Although the band is known for their tasteful playing and the trademark harmonica work of Corky Siegel, the quartet is known just as much for their good-natured outlook and spirit of fun.
Come see for yourself on Friday & Saturday, September 10 & 11, at 7:30 pm. when the Siegel-Schwall Band, featuring co-founders Corky Siegel and Jim Schwall, along with bassist Rollo Radford, virtuoso blues drummer Sam Lay, and special guest Arthur (Sambo) Irby, perform the very songs that put them on the charts all those years ago, at the historic Thrasher Opera House in beautiful downtown Green Lake.
This special two-night performance is supported by a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board and the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation. Additional support is generously provided by the Horicon Bank with hospitality provided by the Heidel House Resort & Spa.
Tickets to see this legendary blues band are $25 and can be purchased at the Thrasher office Knowledge Emporium, Green Lake Bank (Green Lake); Pick ‘n Save & Ripon Drug (Ripon); Twister (Princeton) or by calling 920-294-4279. On-line ticket sales are also now available at www.thrasheroperahouse.com.
