The legendary POCO coming to Thrasher
The historic Thrasher Opera House in downtown Green Lake is thrilled to announce the signing of legendary Country-Rock band, POCO, for two very special Wisconsin-exclusive performances on Friday & Saturday, May 14 & 15, 2010.
Poco was one of the first groups to pioneer Country-Rock music. The harmonies and instruments of Country, mixed with Rock' n' Roll rhythms, paved the way for super-groups like the Eagles. Hits included Crazy Love, Heart of the Night, Rose of Cimarron, Good Feelin' To Know, Indian Summer, Call It Love and much more!
"We're very excited to partner with several area lodging establishments in bringing this iconic 70's super group to our intimate, small town venue, says Roby Irvin, Program Director at Thrasher. A variety of special Ticket/Accommodation Packages have been designed by the area's hotels, motels and B&Bs solely for this concert, some of which have included dining as part of their package. Poco has a very dedicated fan base willing to travel quite a distance for their concerts. We wanted to make it as easy as possible for them to experience all that Green Lake has to offer. More information about these combinations can be found on our website at www.thrasheroperahouse.com".
Tickets for this special performance, sponsored by Ripon Medical Center and Green Lake Bank, are only $34 will be available only through the Thrasher office (located next to the opera house), online at www.thrasheroperahouse.com or by calling the office at 920.294.4279.
