Al Stewart performs to sold-out crowd

Worldwide phenomenon singer/songwriter Al Stewart will be performing to a sold-out crowd at Thrasher Opera House this Saturday, May 10.  Accompanying Stewart will be fellow singer/songwriter Dave Nachmanoff.  Al Stewart is known internationally for several platinum selling albums with “The Year Of The Cat” (1976), and “Time Passages (1978)” being two of his most recognizable works.

The concert is supported in part by a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board with Funds from the State of Wisconsin, with additional sponsorship from Burkart & Heisdorf Insurance and Mid State Abstract and Title, and special accommodations provided by Heidel House. “The return of Al Stewart in concert kicks-off an exciting line-up of artists for the Summer/Fall season at Thrasher.  We’re really thrilled with the quality of entertainment coming up and with the number of ‘sell-out’ performances we’ve had since the beginning of the year. We suggest you purchase tickets early to avoid disappointment,” says Roby Irvin, Program Director at Thrasher.

Tickets for future performances at the historic Thrasher Opera House can be purchased at the Thrasher office, Knowledge Emporium, & Green Lake State Bank (Green Lake); Ripon Drug or Pick ‘n Save (Ripon); Twister (Princeton) or by calling 920-294-4279.  Online tickets or artist information available at
