Missoula Children's Theatre's ROBINHOOD

Missoula Children’s Theatre returns to Thrasher!

The audition for Missoula Children's Theatre production of ROBINHOOD will be held on Monday, January 15 at 4:00 p.m. at Thrasher Opera House, located in downtown Green Lake. There are roles for students in Kindergarten through 12th Grade.  Approximately 50-60 local students will be cast to appear in the show with the MCT Tour Actor/Director.

Missoula Children's Theatre touring productions are complete with costumes, scenery, props and makeup…everything but the children!  Among the roles to be cast are Robin Hood, Maid Marion, Marion’s Maid, Prince John, Sheriff of Nottingham, Guards, Foresters, Horsemen, the Merry Band and the Skunks.  Assistant Directors will also be cast to aid in rehearsals throughout the week, and to take on essential backstage responsibilities.

There is no guarantee that everyone who auditions will be cast in the play. Students wishing to audition must arrive by the scheduled starting time and stay for the entire two-hour session. The first rehearsal begins approximately 15-30 minutes after the audition.

This is a group audition - no advance preparation is necessary, but a smile never hurts. Students should just be ready to come and have a good time!

Rehearsals will be conducted each day from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the opera house. Although not all cast members will be needed at every session, those auditioning must have a clear schedule for the entire week and if selected, be able to attend all rehearsals required for their role. A detailed rehearsal schedule will be distributed at the conclusion of the audition.

The performances will be held on January 20 at 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. and will be presented at Thrasher. The students in the cast will be called for dress rehearsal before the performance that day. All those cast must be available for all scheduled performances.

Tickets to see the performance on Saturday, January 20 at 3 p.m. or 7 p.m. are $12 adults and $8 children. This winter’s residency in Green Lake is made possible by a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board, the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation, Kurt & Jane Piernot, Green Lake State Bank, Condon Total Comfort and Wallenfangs of Green Lake, with accommodations provided by the Bay View Motel.
