506 Sessions - Craig Bauman & the Story
506 Sessions - Craig Baumann & the Story
The 506 Sessions concert series offers the most exclusive audience we've ever had - only 30 people! Setup for these shows include cocktail style seating (and plenty of distance). Come experience the historic Thrasher in a whole new way...

Born 1982 and raised in Oconomowoc, WI. Craig learned to play guitar and drums at age 8 and started gigging at age 12. A good journey thus far with plenty of challenges, in music and life.

Craig’s early music career involved getting to know the blues genre. "You will hear it in everything I do. My grandfather is a vintage country player. You’ll hear it in everything I do. I love the sweet soul grooves of Stax and Motown etc. You’ll hear it in everything I do.”

"I believe there are two kinds of music, good and bad. Genres are made to be broken.”
"Every note is a word, every phrase a sentence, every song a chapter. Let me tell you a story.”

In 2013 Baumann took over other lead guitar in the Rock Country Band Smokin Bandits. 2014 brought some more electric fueled blues and soul from Overserved Gentlemen, with another album on its way. 2016 hooked Baumann into The People Brothers Band playing high energy Blues Funk Soul Dance.

To keep y'all as safe as possible, things might look a little different when you get here for this show. We appreciate your cooperation in wearing masks while you're here (singing/cheering encouraged...but WAAAYYY safer with a mask on!) We've also spaced out the chairs, added cocktail tables, put hand sanitizer EVERYWHERE and a few other things. Check out all of our Wellness Initiatives here. Thank you for understanding and for your continued support of the Thrasher Opera House!

This event is supported in part by a grant from the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation and the Wisconsin Arts Board with funds from the State of Wisconsin and the National Endowment for the Arts.
