With strong emphasis on melody and arrangements from the British songbook of the 60's, he will be bringing his fluid guitar style to select venues all across the United States. The evening promises to be a very special "living room experience" with some of Johnny's favorite songs and stories all of which have molded him into the musician and person he is today.
Its no wonder that Gibson and Epiphone guitars have honored him with not one but three signature model guitars designed to his specifications. Don't miss this rare and unique opportunity to see this Grammy Nominated, Boston Music Hall of Fame Inductee and one of America's finest instrumental guitarists up close and personal!
Johnny has shared the stage with artists from BB King to Steve Vai and everybody in between and has performed at such prestigious festivals as Eric Clapton’s Crossroads, the Montreal Jazz Festival, and Tokyo’s Fuji Rock Festival. Coming back to his roots, Johnny has developed an intimate solo performance celebrating some of the greatest, and most influential, guitar work in history.
To keep y'all as safe as possible, things might look a little different when you get here for this show. We appreciate your cooperation in wearing masks while you're here (singing/cheering encouraged...but WAAAYYY safer with a mask on!) We've also spaced out the chairs, added cocktail tables, put hand sanitizer EVERYWHERE and a few other things. Check out all of our Wellness Initiatives here. Thank you for understanding and for your continued support of the Thrasher Opera House!
